Out to the Ourika or Asni side for the morning, back by mid-afternoon. A day to make the city feel less like the whole country.

The argan road → Essaouira
West through the argan groves, a stop at a women's cooperative that is actually a cooperative, and into the ramparts before sunset.
DAY 04

Essaouira, at its own speed
Fish grills on the port, the skala walls, the wood carvers' arches. Nothing scheduled after lunch — this is the day people say they'd extend.

Beaches south, or nothing at all
Sidi Kaouki and the empty sand if you want it, a chair and a book if you don't. Both are correct answers.

Yes, and we'd rewrite the route rather than bolt it on. Shorter drives, flatter stops, later starts. Tell us who's coming and the plan comes back shaped around them.
It is windy, year round — that's why it's bearable in August when Marrakech isn't. Bring a layer for the evening even in summer. We'd rather tell you now than have you pack wrong.
